“When I opened the box containing the torte and two other items, I was alarmed to see bits of the torte broken off and scattered around. When I removed the slightly smashed torte from its box, all the pieces were helter-skelter, piled on top of each other. It was as if whoever packed it, tried to cram a too big box into too small of a space. That being said, everything was nice and frozen and I was able to salvage enough pieces and serve them Christmas Day, after trimming bits of cardboard off of most pieces. My guests never knew and the torte was absolutely delicious and particularly enjoyed by my gluten-allergic guests. You may need to revisit your shipping protocol.”
