“I purchased this gravy because I was making a special turkey brine and glaze whose drippings would not lend themselves to good homemade gravy. While the gravy was certainly better than canned we found it to be pretty bland and its predominant flavor was almost like caramel! Weird.”
“We have a deep-fried turkey every year so I usually make gravy starting with turkey wings for broth and go from there. I couldn’t find wings this year so I ordered gravy at a price I assumed reflected something special. It was bland and I asked a chef dining with us to doctor it for taste. The taste improved but even he couldn’t make it special.”
