“The filet was tender and the crust was light, buttery, and flaky. For the cost I expected the filets to be a little larger. However, they are filling if you eat a few in a sitting. Would have preferred a bit more seasoning in the filling.”
“I was surprised how good these were--even though I overcooked them to 180 degrees to get them to brown. The meat was still moist and tender, the pastry delicate with a nice little crunch.
It worked well to serve them with the wild mushroom tarts for my vegetarian guests.”
