“This was my father's favorite cake which I often baked for him back in the day. He's been gone 25+ years and I no longer bake; however, mine was much better because it was not so sweet & syrupy. Mine was not light colored & runny, but darker & firmer. And where is the center Cherry?!? Thought that I'd give this a try and walk down memory lane, but it didn't pass muster with me & certainly would not have met my Dad's expectations. So won't be buying again.”
