“We ordered the italian rum cake to surprise my 87 year old dad for his birthday - which was a tradition of our family for many years when I was younger - when we could drive to an italian bakery in Boston. Now in southern CA, hard to find this type of italian rum cake. I was a bit anxious about the shipment - I paid for overnight which arrived the morning after the stated delivery date due to a fedex issue. The cake arrived in perfect condition, thawed well in the refridgerator and tasted exactly like we remembered! It was a little bit drier as compared to the fresh cakes dripping in rum - but all in all it was delicious and we will definitely order again.”
