“It is difficult to review a classic product like this. I have been using these all my life, and I suspect I may have some from my grandmother's generation. Of course they will eventually break when dropped or the pan is repeatedly boiled dry. It is great to know they remain available. 36 is the size I use most often, about right for a pudding to serve 4-6 and it is widely imitated (the 'wrong' ones don't stack correctly). Equally important are the other sizes, with 52 being the smallest still available, just right for a Christmas pudding for one, up to the epic No 18 at 2.5 ltrs. These others are harder to find in the shops, so the mail order service from the manufacturer is much appreciated. It would be nice to know what Cash's sizes actually mean!”
