Not sure where I learned about PBN but I’m sure it was a fb add. I choose this company after learning that two I originally ordered from another company were going to take 2 months to get to me. I needed something to occupy my mind during these times of quarantine and isolation. I ordered A Quiet Place and had no idea what to expect. I finished it in about 3 days. I love it. It’s relaxing and all of a sudden hours have gone by. The shipping is top notch...came in in a hard cardboard tube mailer. A number guide reference page and small finished color picture that I used many times for reference. I used the brushes that came with the kit for the whole thing and the paint is a superb quality. The canvas is great quality. My son even wants to do one. I immediately ordered 3 more...book store, poppy fields for me and taste of the past for my son. Top notch! Can’t wait to start on my next painting! Thank you for providing me with such a great escape during these trying times!

I'm a nurse from California who was looking for a way to relax during this worldwide and scary pandemic. I am not creative in ANY way and the last time I painted was grade school during the dreaded art class. I saw Masterpiece's ad and thought it seemed like something I'd be willing to try as I was desperate to find something to take my mind off all that is going on. I've included several pics during the stages as I know I was looking at several reviews of their kit options, and I loved seeing progress. These kits were exactly what someone like me needed. The canvas feels luxurious, the paints are vibrant and the template they send with is very helpful when the spaces are too tiny too see what number it is. During this painting, I became addicted. So much so that I have ordered a total of 25, yes, not a typo, 25 total kits. With the deal of "buy 2 get a 3rd free," I have purchased so many because I give them as gifts. I am almost done with my 2nd one, "The Bookstore," and my son's girlfriend is almost done with "The Antique Store." It is great to buddy-paint with someone during social distancing sharing tips and tricks and see each other's progress. I put my headphones on, play my favorite music and RELAX. Many times I think I'm gonna paint for just a half hour or so, and I realize several hours have gone by. I get into a groove and see the instant gratification and accomplishment. Best therapy for me right now and it is saving my sanity. Several of the kits will be going to friends and coworkers in healthcare as they have seen my progress on FB and need to find a creative outlet at the end of their shift. The company is very responsive to questions. If the kit you want is sold out, there is a place to put an email address for you to be notified when it comes back in stock. Some tips I read from a few other people and many of my own you might find helpful: Seems wrong, but paint the darker colors in the section first then the lighter. I tried the other way several times, and it just looked weird where the 2 edges met. They were right. If you screw up and paint wrong color, no worries. Let it dry and go back over with correct color. If it was supposed to be a lighter color, just keep layering until it looks right (let dry between layers). Add drop of water at a time to paint if it gets lumpy. Keep lid closed when not using as they will dry out. Paint with one color at a time to limit wasting paint by having to washing brush between colors. Take picture of template they provide with your phone and zoom in if you are having a hard time seeing because you have old eyeballs like mine. Relax and enjoy the process. This doesn't need to hang in a museum and you aren't getting a grade. Even though it is a paint by number telling you what color and where, if you are new to painting, you will learn lots. I had a few screw ups so there are some design features of my own, but I love my painting. This is a great way to relieve some of the stress of the times we are living in (and beyond) and gets creative juices flowing. This was the perfect project for someone like me who never would've picked up a paintbrush again had this not crossed my path. Good luck, wash your hands frequently (sorry, always a nurse) and good health to you all.

brushes were a little fragile -- started shedding bristles halfway through the project. Paints were good quality, service was excellent

I have done oil painting for years but with arthritis and maculuar degeneration I could no longer mix colors properly and make fine lines. I was hoping this kit would help and it has. I am getting used to the acrylics. Also I tacked the canvas onto a bigger, blank, stretched canvas I had and used my easel. When I finish this one, I'll be sending in a photo for my next project. Thank you for letting g continue a hobby.

Nice break from all the distressing news each day. Having spent countless days at the beach as a kid and as an adult I could hear the surf and smell the air while I sleep in the chair. Great fun!!!
