“I picked Princess Diana Roses because I love white rose's and flowers design setting. The picture print and quality is great and I'm very challenged by this painting.
I have one down comment.. There was no white paint for any of the roses and this was a draw back as I progressed in my painting. . I wanted the white rose as was shown in picture selection.. The roses are just varried shades of pale greens and darker colors for contrast and demention. When people take pictures of their paintings finished to show off, the roses do look whitish, but really are not, so this was my disappointment, found as I worked the project. The roses really should be whitish not green cast.
Rather than not finish my picture I decided to get white paint and change up some of the greens. I've never done this before but wanted to complete the beautiful flower design so I could frame and use it where I planned.
This is a lovely painting piece but not pleased with paint colors matching the shown pictures.
I like the challenge now and I will gladly show this painting when done and framed to all my masterpiece design family. You are a great company!
This picture is beautiful, yet, I really feel the color coordination should be reworked if people are expecting white flowers.
Thank you for asking for real comments. I will be purchasing again!”
“Challenging but fun to do. I expected the roses to be a little whiter in color, but worked out for me. This was my 5th painting with 3 more to do. Great was for retired folks like me to spend time reductively.”
“I gave it a 4 because the colors were a little different from the example, however it turned out beautifully. This piece was my first, and some of the numbers were very difficult to see even with a magnifying glass. Some spaces had no numbers at all, so I used my judgement to fill those in.
I would not recommend this piece as your FIRST painting, however as I said, it did turn out beautifully and I am anxious to see what it looks like when I get it back from the framer.”
“I’ve done quite a few MBN ‘S and this is the most challenging, but I think it will be the most beautiful when it’s done. Am using the smallest brush (the one with two bristles).”
“A challenge, but that's good. Almost ran out of afew colors and the building in the background was not as pronounced as in the picture. I loved doing it and am now on my third painting with hopes to do more. Very relaxing.”
“I started doing PBN in June of 2020. This is my favorite so far. Beautiful details. It is the only one I kept for myself. Still trying to decide which color frame I like best.”
“This was my first paint by numbers. It's a gorgeous painting, and I'm so happy I did it. The canvas and paint are high quality. Part way into it, I bought the 5 piece brush set, which made the finer detail easier to do. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the color palette is a bit different than the original painting shown on the website. The paint by numbers version has a lot more gray, celedon, and ochre whereas the original painting is more blue and soft yellows; also, the original has more background detail. Those are quibbles. I am definitely going to do more of these paintings.”
