“This is my 6th completed painting from Masterpiece. I'm addicted to these kits. With 50 purchased kits, yep, not a typo, I used their template, but then went rogue and attempted to add my own creative twist to it this time. Prior to my first painting kit of their's, the last time I painted, I was in 2nd grade. I HATED art!
I decided to trim off the part that still looked like I still sat at the 2nd grade art table, because, well, Van Gogh I am not, but was happy with the rest. Is it worthy of hanging in someone else's house, nope! But it feels worthy of hanging in MY bedroom because it reminds me that creatively I have made more progress since elementary school, and that works for me.
So for all of you more advanced painters who think paint by numbers is only for beginner's, it may inspire you to get one and put your own spin on it :)”
