“After a short break from painting, I finally completed my 5th MBN artwork, Lakeside Retreat today. The piece would have been easier to paint if the colors provided matched the artist’s painting. Unfortunately for some areas it didn’t. Since I prefer that the colors of my artwork is as close to the original as possible, I ended up mixing my own colors using the unused paint from my previous pieces to find the closest matching shades. Otherwise the paints are of good quality. I also use my own brushes since the ones provided are only good for painting small areas. You will need bigger brushes to cover the larger areas like the sky and the lake.”
