“My sweet little Lucy passed away last fall, so I ordered this picture of her - I am very happy with the results so far, even though admittedly, I’m not a very good painter.”
“This company is great. I have purchase more than 6 kits and this was my first custom one. The only criticism I will give is that my son looks a lot darker than the picture, maybe some adjustments need to be made to the colors when doing a custom one. My girlfriend had the same issue. At the end they look great!”
“I wanted to surprise my daughter-in-law with the picture of her little dogs. It was tedious, but I am pleased with the end results. They posed so perfect for the picture.”
“Ordered a kit of my granddaughter's dog. As I painted, I wasn't sure I liked the colors but customer service was encouraging. I'm glad I trusted their advice because the painting is amazing. My granddaughter wants me to paint one of their other dog.”
“I was amazed at how detailed the painting was. The custom paint is a perfect match. I ordered for my mother for mother's day and she loved it.! It's a beautiful way to remember her mother who recently passed. When the painting is finished, I will upload it.”
“I had a picture of my corgi I lost to cancer two years ago. I decided to do something different this year in his memory and was looking at options to create some art featuring my dog. After weeks of mulling options over, I had the MBN folks turn that picture into a custom canvas. I admit, I was skeptical and almost immediately regretted my decision. I am NOT painter...I haven't painted a thing since middle school. But I wanted a "project" to finish in this time of corona, inspired I was by the efforts of others. Mostly I was worried that the canvas wouldn't capture his personality, the spark in his eyes. The canvas that came was very detailed, so much so that I thought I would butcher it, that I had bitten off more than I could chew, but my fears were mislaid. I recommend getting the paint brushes and extra paint. I didn't have MBN frame it either and probably should have (as framing for a 16x20 painting isn't cheap).
I painted this a little each day for 4 weeks. I didn't completely follow the instructions (there is a LOT of background green so I would paint a corner and then move on to other parts while it dried). At first, I felt like I was getting nowhere, but the first day I outlined one of his ears, it's hard to express how emotional it made me. It came out wonderfully and I've been sharing it with all my friends. When I look at that painting, that's my Boomer. Yes, I could have paid someone else to paint it, but this was my sweat and tears. This is one my wall in a place of honor and I couldn't be more pleased.”
