“Two years ago I discovered Masterpiece by Numbers and bought a couple of paintings for my dad. He loved them! So this Christmas I bought three custom kits for him to do. I live in England and usually order from the UK site and then take them back with me to the US. This past Christmas, not only did my trip to the US have to be cancelled, but the UK went back into lockdown so I stayed with a friend. Worrying that they would try to deliver while I was living elsewhere, I contacted support to see if I could have my order shipped to my friend's address. I received a response very quickly and they were happy to accommodate my request. I noticed that the kits were shipped from Florida and asked if the kits could ship directly to my dad. Again, they said it would be no problem to ship directly to him. Not only amazing (and challenging) kits, but GREAT customer service. Even with the time difference, I received quick responses that were always friendly, professional and detailed. My dad has been able to enjoy the paintings now rather than waiting until next Christmas. Anyone ordering a custom kit, they do take longer as indicated on the website, but they are well worth the wait. Already looking at photos for this year's birthday/Christmas gifts!”
“My first custom MBN was so much fun to work on. The Alaskan Malamutes are long gone and the Border Collie is now 15 years old. Painting from the top down was like watching the malamutes come back to life. Their personalities seem to jump off the canvas. The funny, rambunctious collie taking a break in the bluebonnets is a wonderful reminder of his life in Texas.
The detail in this painting is incredible and it took a while to complete, but the end result is breathtaking. As you can see, the finished painting looks just like the photograph. I tried to blend the lines where I could and only did a little section at a sitting. My only recommendation is to purchase the extra set of paints and get a small brush to work with.
