“Of all the paintings I've done, this one was actually the easiest and fastest to paint. I had to add more white to the top back feathers of the Pelican to make it more like the original and I painted my own seagulls rather than the little blops that were intended to be them. Also the clouds needed some added white trimming to give the appearance of being back-lit like the original. So after all was said and done, it came out beautiful and he's hanging next to my other "beach scenes" in the office.”
