“This is my fifth MBN. I love them all. Thanks to James Hautman for his beautiful painting. I made numerous changes to make it my own. I mixed five custom colors using paint from previous kits and used three other colors as-is from previous kits. I blended in numerous places. The custom colors were done to make the sky, male cardinal and bluebirds look the way I wanted. I added or reworked feet to the birds where they seemed needed. I reworked the grasshopper, ant and damselfly to my liking. I added antennae to the butterflies and bumblebee and wings to the bumblebee. I added spots to the ladybugs. I enhanced flowers to my liking. Such changes make the painting even more fun to do. Lovin' MBN!”
“I absolutely love the colors of this painting. They are so vibrant! The birds and butterflies are so life-like! I haven't finished my painting yet, but when I do, it will be framed and put up in my art room. I suffer from depression and anxiety, and I paint as a method of therapy. It calms me and lets me be creative. I would never order from another company because Masterpiece by Numbers is the very best. I don't even know how many I have ordered, but I do know that every one of them has turned out beautifully due to the details. I just ordered three more paintings and am looking forward to doing them as well. I agree with others that a magnifier is a good thing to invest in just because of the amount of detail. Also, I bought some specialty brushes to get into those tiny spots.”
