“this painting was my first MBN and definitely not the easiest! there were a lot of tricky details and some sections that didn't seem to have numbers, but it was very satisfying to complete the painting! would definitely recommend :)”
“I wanted a set of bicycle paintings so did all three. Of the three, Amsterdan at Sunset was by far the most detailed!! Even required a few new brushes. I am very pleased but do not recommend for the faint of heart. This is my 5th Masterpiece work and I highly recommend them.”
“This was my first painting and I must say I was extremely pleased with the outcome. The directions, suggestions and numbers were easy to follow. The map sent with the painting was very helpful, but not every block was clearly identified with a corresponding number. I would recommend that you purchase better thin line brushes before you start as the ones furnished will not hold up and provide the desired outcome. Also I ran out of black paint, but that could have been my fault and too heavy an application. The finished product is very good and a great value for the money. I also found this project to be relaxing and entertaining.”
“This one was so detailed, it took me 6 weeks of painting off and on but love the finished product. I improvised a little bit to get it closer to the picture on the website vs the one in the kit and love how it turned out! Can’t wait to start the next one!”
“I have been enjoying working on this Amsterdam painting through a very sad time due the illness and death of a friend. It has offered me time to think about nothing but color and placement and to look forward to the revealing of the beautiful and typical canal in one of my favorite cities. It also offers a bit more challenge because of the detail, so if you're not in a hurry to finish it will give you hours of fun.”
“The quality of the paints and canvas were quite good. The shipping, the materials were great. That said, I was disappointed in the transfer of the design into a pbn format. The colors (especially around the sky/blues) were garish and I really lost some of the definition/depth of the colors around the street lights, especially. That said, I appreciated the inclusion of the picture as well as the "control" paper.
I will likely try masterpiece by numbers again, but will be more careful in my choice of subject next time.”
