My wife and I loved visiting Paris last year, and painting this helps me go back there for a little while. I can only paint a little at a time due to my schedule, but I love the peace it brings me.

Loved working on this piece. It’s really fun painting the shapes and stepping back and watch it turn into something beautiful.

My wife actually doing the picture. Love the detail. One problem on this one painting some of the paint pots no closed all the way caused a number of the paints to be almost dried right out.

The canvas is thick and the paints are good quality, however the paintbrushes are wooden and the brush heads are not very secure on - I received one with the brush head completely off

Thoroughly enjoyed this project -- first one I have attempted. I found it to be a bit challenging as many of the areas to be painted were extremely tiny - so one needs a good set of eyes plus a magnifying glass may be helpful. I also found when painting the lighter colors that it was necessary to go over the number and lines another time as they could be seen with just one coat of paint. All in all I thought it came out rather nicely and as mentioned above thoroughly enjoyed doing it. I already am working on my next painting - Monet - Field of Poppies -- it is coming along rather nicely and I just love the colors. As an aside I want to add that I really thought I was going to run out of paint as those little containers empty out rather quickly it seemed -- however, I did have enough to finish the painting. This time around for my Monet I purchased an extra paint and brush kit -- for the money it was worth it I think -- and just as a safeguard -- one can always use it for something else down the road if not used now. Thank you.

It was a little trickier than I expected to paint tiny spaces. When it was completed, I wasn't sure it looked like it was supposed to until my husband took a photo of me holding it. Then I could see that it was what it was supposed to be! I found it very calming to work on it and have already ordered more.
