this was surprisingly nice. not too tough. rather small cuts but for £3 odd its fantastic. would buy multiple cuts of this over any supermarket steak.

I had been looking for this cut of beef for some time, not realising what it is called here in the UK. In Australia, it was , I believe, called Minute Steak and was BBQd very briefly with onions then placed between toasted bread to make a wonderful Steak Sarnie. Having now tasted Meatbox's Bavette, I can earnestly say this is a wonderful, inexpensive, cut that I would certainly recommend. Don't forget to BBQ very briefly so as not to spoil the tenderness and beautiful taste.

I wasn't overly impressed if I had to be honest. As part of the same order I had some Flat Iron Steaks, which both me and my partner had. I enjoyed mine, my partner couldn't and didn't eat because 'it didn't smell' right. Seemed fine to me... but we both suffered a little the next day. hard to say if it was the steak but it was the only think we both ate that day.
