“I've had my Melin for a few weeks now and it's a great hat. Comfortable, stylish - haven't had any rain but expecting it to perform. Importantly the Melin customer service were Awesome, my hat arrived crushed in transit - I sent an email with a few photos and the reply included the tracking number for the replacement free of charge. This is a company that makes great hats, stands by it's products and values it's customers. Nice work Melin!”
“Great hat, I am in Canada so it ended up being a really expensive one but if it lasts as long as i hope it will be worth it. The beak is smaller than I like but I have grown to like it!”
“When the hat was brand-new I had to wear it tighter than was comfortable in order to achieve a snug fit that looked good above and behind my ears. If I wore it comfortably, it looked too large. If I wore it looking good, it felt too tight. I was disappointed initially, until the hat stretched some after wearing. While it's still slightly tighter than I'd prefer (while in the good looking fit), it's no longer uncomfortable, and I now consider it a great hat. If anyone else has this experience, I recommend giving it a week or so to stretch.”
“Going to start with I had been seeing the melin hat ads all over social media and always thought their hats looked cool with a neat concept design. I have always wanted a hat I could wear in the water, but always hated trashing a good hat after soaking it for the first time. I was excited to get my hat as I had a fishing trip that weekend. When the hat came it felt small on my head and didn’t sit right. I don’t have a huge head (fitted hats are typically 7-3/8”) and the hat didn’t hug my head like I like my hats too. The material felt durable and had nice stitching, but I just can’t get over how it fits.
At $60 a pop sucks it’s just going to collect dust in my closet.”
