“Went to lake Havasu this weekend for Memorial Day and my hat has a big water ring around it. I bought this hat for this exact reason because it said it wouldn’t do this but it turns out it still does. I’m very happy with the fit and it does float, but I’m pretty bummed out it has a water mark the very first day I wore it.”
“I love this hat I wear it every day, I wash houses and decks before staining them and it keeps my head pretty dry and it doesn't soak up the water so it stays light weight even if its down pouring. Long story short anyone who wants a water resistant, super comfortable, and very durable hat this is a must.”
“Waited a very long time to pull the trigger on a $60 hat, mainly because i've never bought one without trying it on first. Materials are great, love the look, but i have a larger head (7 1/4 fitted size), and the fit on this is either too snug and produces lines on my forehead, or too loose where i have to re-adjust often. I was hoping the added depth of the hat would prevent this (lots of hair here), but its still a bit shy of your usual trucker tall hat depth. Going to give it a little while longer, really wanted a new favorite all-purpose hat, not sure if this is it though.”
“I love the trenches, i love it so much I bought another in a different color. My second one however, doesn't seem to have the water proof coating evenly applied because there is a section that gets soaked, not like my first one. Very disappointing for the price.”
