“I was skeptical. They're expensive. Who would buy a hat for $60? I read another review or comment on IG and someone commented on how they loved them. They stood up well to wear and tear and after 3 months still looked new. I think a comment about how they still looked good after their two sons got a hold of dad's nice things is what had me take the plunge. First one showed up and I was blown away at how nice it was, really good quality, well made and just looked really nice. Also functional for walking around town or in my case being on the water. Then my son got a hold of mine and i decided he can keep it and i bought another. And then I decided I wanted a different style and color, so I bought a 3rd Melin. This is ridiculous I thought, but this style and ooh that Olive color looks really nice and suddenly I have 4 of these really expensive hats that I absolutely love, except it's only 3 because my son co-opted one. Hmmm, a black one would be nice. Ok, black and that's it I'm done. So now I have 5 of these hats and they ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for and I'm really happy with them. I highly highly highly recommend them. If you don't like it you can return it, but my bet is after the first one comes, you'll want another one. They also came really quickly like 2-3 days even w regular shipping. I'm in California for what it's worth. I love mine. Good luck buying just one.”
“First, let me say that I didn't want to believe the hype. Melin's marketing team does a bang up job, but sometimes it's hard to believe advertisements that are out there in the world. I have two of these hats now and they are hands-down the most comfortable hats that I own. Not to mention, they're ridiculously attractive hats. I wore one in a light rain once and it still looks brand new. I plan on testing out the water-resistance this summer at the lake while wake surfing. So far, I'm super impressed and will be getting some more!”
“I ordered the Olive Hydro, and absolutely love the fit, style and quality, where I'm knocking off a star is the color. In the photo it looks almost forest green, but my hat came and it came grey. I went back to check if there had been a mixup, but there wasn't. The color is just off, and not slightly, it's a completely different color. I still enjoy the hat, but now wish I would have ordered the Maroon or black.”
