“This had fits better than any other hat I’ve ever had and I’m a total particular hat fiend. It’s pretty cool that it’s the hat the HLA use as well. I learned how to surf on the North Shore of Oahu, and spent many days out in the water all over Oahu, Maui, and Kauai. I originally ordered the white Trenches hydro but it was accidentally tagged wrong and I got an XL, instead of the Classic 58 size. When I called customer service about it, the classic 58 wasn’t in stock. The customer service took care of me. I ended up getting the red HLA instead and I’m so glad I did. I will definitely get a white and Navy for sure at minimum also. Melin probably has the best customer service out there. If you are questioning whether these hats are worth the amount they are, don’t. Go get one, you won’t regret it.”

“In short, I have been very happy with the quality and functionality of this hat. I am an amateur runner and this is the go-to hat for all of my daily run, especially since I can stow cash in the interior pocket. It takes sweat, dirt, and bad body odor, and easily washes out with a simple soapy-water rinse in the sink. I made sure to follow the recommended cleaning procedure, per the steps outline in the documentation that comes with the hat.

“My first impression of the hat was that it was overpriced and how good of a hat could this be? After months of contemplating buying. My wife made the decision for me and bought it as a gift. The hat does its job and the quality is there. I use this hat as my everything hat from golfing, hiking, tennis, and daily errands.
