“I ordered two hats. Both Trenches Icon Hydro, one Navy and one Sand Camo. Both hats are labeled as Classic (58cm) size but there is a drastic difference in size between the two. Almost as if the navy hat was mislabeled and should be the XL size. It was so large that I had to close the snaps two notches tighter on it to get it to fit. The sand camo hat fits as expected. The quality of these hats are exactly what Melin promotes...very high-quality materials & great craftsmanship. I am just baffled by the size variances. Unfortunately, I received the hats (literally) moments before going on vacation and decided that rather than exchanging it I would try to "break it in" while I was away in hopes of getting it to relax and fit better, however, the material & quality that makes the hat so nice also make it very challenging to break in. They hold their shape well. I would love to give this hat a full 5 stars as I think the quality is spot on but the inconsistency in sizing that I'm experiencing between the two hats leaves a little to be desired.”

“One of the better hats I’ve ever owned. Love how it holds in my sweat after a workout. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is because of the fitting. I have a cone head and the hat doesn’t fit deep into my head. Other than that it’s a good hat!”
