“Washing a trucker hat after taking it for a run meant I'd pretty much ruin it. Once a normal hat goes through the wash it's never the same again. Sure, I'd still wear it, but it wouldn't fit right anymore.
Then I switched to running hats. They do better after a wash, but they're thin and usually have a shallow fit. Plus, they look silly.
Sure, $60 is expensive for a baseball hat. But I exercise outside almost daily, have to cover my bald dome, and the hat will get LOTS of use.
I've had the hat for about a month. It's been hand washed 5-6 times already. It still looks great, fits great, and wears like the moment I took it out of the box.
You pay for what you get.

“Overall, I really like this hat. It looks sharp, has some unique features, and is made with high-quality materials. Melin needs a more comprehensive fitting guide that shows the entire range of head sizes each hat fits. I have a relatively large head (7 5/8” fitted) and when I measured my head XL seemed like the best option for me. While the XL fits me on the default size there’s a little bit more extra material in the back than I’d like. In retrospect, I think I would have preferred the regular size with the back adjusted a couple of snaps. Lastly, the value really isn’t great. With no discount and shipping, you’re looking at nearly $70 per hat… IMO, that’s kind of crazy for a hat. If it wasn’t for a first time buyer discount and reaching the free shipping threshold by buying two, I probably wouldn’t have ordered these hats. Only time will tell if it holds up better than an average hat.”
