“Was very excited to see these design but the quality and fit of this has was not consistent with what I’ve come to expect from Melin. The hat was so shallow and small that there was zero chance it was fitting my head. I had my 8 year old twin daughters jokingly try it on before returning and it was even a touch small on them. The pictures online looked great and I was pumped that Melin had created a unique design but this one definitely missed the boat (no pun intended). Still a huge Melin supporter and look forward to the next design.”
“This is my second return due to quality control issues.
I currently own 10 Melin hats, and while the others are obviously great - the reason for this particular return is crazy.
I understand the intent behind your return process (i.e. no questions just 3 clicks and then you can get a refund), but it also makes me wonder if anyone there even cares why an item is being returned. Do these hats just get sent back out to the next customer who unknowingly thinks they are getting a new hat? Does anything ever get fixed?
I hope that you take the time to look over this particular hat, note the absolutely horrible finishing job of how the brim fits into the sweat band area. The rough edges of where the brim fits into the hat are exposed maybe a 1/4 of an inch into the sweat band! this is not comfortable at all. Literally there is a ledge poking into your forehead while you wear this hat. The second I pulled the hat out of the bag I immediately realized something was a little off - this should have been caught in QA.
Maybe Melin has been trying to produce so many new styles/fits that they have taken their eye off the ball. The whole premium quality head wear thing seems to have been forgotten as of late.”
“For preference, I own the trenches and a game hydro which are deep depth.
This hat would have been awesome if it weren't so shallow. My wife and I thought for a second it was a kids size. Overall I like the hat but I have to big of a head.
I called customer service and they were great about getting it returned for a refund.”
