I also use this hat while just walking around town and it does a phenomenal job of blocking the sun. I cannot give enough praise as to how amazing this hat is. The rubber piece under the bill is perfect for catching grease and dirt from dirty hands while taking the hat off and putting back on allowing this hat to remain looking fresh.
I also love the hidden pocket where I now keep extra cash for gas money etc.

“I have many hats in my collection. I consider myself a hat guy. As a guy with a rather large dome I have a lot of trouble finding hats that fit good. I started my melon collection with the all white Trenches Hydro after finally seeing one of the Melin hats in the wild. I was impressed with the feel and the overall quality. After my purchase I was amazed at how easy they are to keep clean. My white hat is still as white as it was when I first bought it even after cleaning it a few times.
