“This is by far the best workout hat I anyone could have - believe me I’ve tried it all (even other Melin styles). I’ve used this for running, HIIT, hiking, and even just a day out at the park. This hat is the perfect do it all hat and I wish they made more colors than black.”
“I loved my pace, my only complaints are that they got rid of all of their other options for colors or styles and went to black only. My old pace lived its life everywhere and was great for packing away and hiking with, partying etc— never crushable and resilient. When it was stolen, the only option left was this black one. Bring back your other colors and style options! This is your best hat!”
“I bought this hat over one year ago and used it on average 3-4 days per week during rigorous exercise, which required a wash each and every wear. This hat held up to the abuse I put it through very well. After 1 year, the rubber forehead strip began to peel so I glued it back down and it was good for a few more months. I'm finally ready to buy a replacement and I'm very satisfied. This is by far the most comfortable that I have ever owned for exercise purposes, including running and crossfit.”
“This is my second Melin hat so I had really high hopes for it when they came out with it. For starters, the purchasing experience wasn't the best. They price the hat under the free shipping mark so by the time you add in the $15 in shipping cost it becomes more expensive than their standard hats. Either they should price it the same or lower their free shipping benchmark.
In regards to the hat. I have a smaller head (7-1/4) so the one size fit wasn't the best for me with this style (my other hat, the Crushable Hydro fit great). I have to tighten it more than I'd like for it to fit comfortably tucked behind my ears. This causes it to press into my forehead more than I'd like. When it's loser I don't have that issue but I then have to tuck my ears in the hat which I'm not a fan of (small head problems). Overall quality is great though, no complaints there. I can see someone with a larger head liking this hat though. I haven't taken it running yet and I'm not sure I will so I can't speak to the breathability, but from just wearing it around in 90-degree weather it's been super breathable.”
“This is a good-quality hat. Good brim size and fit with minimal branding. I took a razor blade and cut that annoying rubber Melin logo off from under the brim. Overall good hat.”
“Really simple, the hat is great! Period. But I need to highlight that I found this great hat because of the customer service staff of Melin. I can not understate how great that crew is!! I mean it’s another level. Not joking. The responsiveness, the resolution, going out of their way, geez!! I’m not going to get into specifics to how this all came to pass, but Melin is one heck of a company. They got me as a valued future customer for years to come that’s for sure. They need to hurry up and come up with a dedicated line of golf apparel and accessories! More hats please”
