“I bought this cap because I wanted a hat that not only protects my scalp from the sun but also keeps sweat out of my eyes. No other hat I've ever tried actually did those two things well. I always wound up having to wear a rolled up bandana around my forehead to catch the sweat and then a cap squashed on top. That sort of worked but the cap often fell off. And it looked goofy. The squeegee-like thing at the front of this cap actually works as advertised. The sweat gets channeled to the sides of my face. I also like that the hat is fairly deep. It feels secure on my head. The adjustment mechanism works.”
“Very light and comfortable, plus you can fold it up to put in your pocket. Otherwise same great qualities of other Melin hats. The sweat guard doesn't bother me at all.”
“Great cap in every respect except one. I personally don't care for the plastic piece in the front of the headband to divert sweat from your eyes. It works well, but I don't like the feel against my forehead.
Other than that, the hat is perfect.”
