I love my compact therm coffee machine as it is a perfect size for my single coffee lover home. It also makes excellent coffee and keeps it hot for hours in the environmentally friendly thermal jug. Very happy!

We we're a bit worried about how small this is because we tend to use our coffee machine to make 2 travel mugs of coffee. We we're amazed at how much you can get in the thermal jug itself which holds about 3 travel cups of liquid but the water reservoir just holds enough water for 2 travel cups. We bought this to replace a Ninja Coffee Bar and we miss the functionality of that machine but this is a lot simpler to the point where you just fill up the water reservoir, add your filter and coffee and switch it on. It will run until the reservoir is empty so you do have to remember to only add as much water as you need. It will shut itself off about 10 minutes after it's finished but this does mean that if you add more water to the reservoir while it's still turned on it will kick in again :) I was a bit confused about leaving the lids on the travel cup and the thermal jug when making coffees. I suppose it makes sense that it keeps the coffee warm because the machine has no warming plate but initially I assumed you'd need to leave the lids off or the coffee wouldn't go into the cup/jug. Seems I was wrong and you need the lids to be in place to help the "drip stop" work. When I mistakenly left the lid off the jug I found that I ended up with only half a jug of weak coffee and the filter compartment was full of coffee :) I spotted in the manual an instruction to make sure the lid was on the travel mug before placing under the filter compartment so I retested with the jug lid in place and it worked perfectly. I suppose my only criticism with the machine is that it's a bit awkward to fill the reservoir but that's not a deal breaker. Just means you need to be careful. Also the documentation received is pretty basic and doesn't stretch to ideas on how to experiment with frothed milk to make lattes for example. That would have been a nice addition. Would also have been nice to include a couple of free filters to get you started. Overall I'm happy with this. It's basic in terms of functionality but it does what it's supposed to and it's good for up to 2 travel mugs of coffee in one sitting :) It also has a relatively small footprint which is very handy for those of us with limited bench space

We love this coffee machine as we didn't want anything too large on the counter top. It comes with a travel mug and thermos jug which both keep the coffee hot for a long time without the issues a hotplate type gives by ruining the coffee and using more electricity. It doesn’t have a built in timer, but as it automatically turns off, we use a smart plug in the wall to switch it on in the morning via out smart phones! That way the coffee is ready to go in the morning.
