The Army National Guard urn honors those who served in this branch of the service. It is made in the U.S. from select grade red alder wood and red oak, beautifully finished with a clear varnish. Cremains are loaded through the base of the urn by removing screws using a #2 Phillips/Square Head screwsdriver. Included is a 2 millimeter poly liner to place the cremains into before placing them inside the urn. Each urn can be personalized with the name, dates, military rank or a loving remark such as Loving Husband and Father. The roses and ivy noted in the photo are used for photographic purposes only and not included with the urn. This urn is also available with an optional memorial chest add-on. This can be used as a place to keep mementos (i.e. insignias, medals, ribbons, and photos) of your loved one, while the separated lower area is a cremation urn. The chest is lined with a hunter green felt flocking. The standard depth of the memory chest area is about 1.5" deep. The lid has two hidden solid brass hinges and a solid brass friction latch. Please note the reduction of space for cremains with the addition of the memorial chest.
