These name plates are available in several styles and with various finishes. Order a name plate with a chain if you would like it to fit over the top of a vase-shaped brass or marble urn. These name plates are slightly curved so they will lay nicely on the curved surface of the vase-style urn. Flat name plates are available to fit on a square or rectangular urn, or any urn with a flat surface. The letters are engraved using the Optima 3L font (see bottom of product image on left for example of font) into a black background creating a contrast and making the text clear and striking. (The brushed pewter nameplate and the bright silver nameplate have a dark gray background instead of a black background). Both the curved and flat plates have a sticky backing for easy attachment to an urn. Dimensions and max characters: The large plate measures 3 1/5" x 1 1/4". Please limit engraving to two lines with 20-22 characters/spaces on the first line and 30-33 characters/spaces on the second line. Engraving color will be brass regardless of the name plate ordered. The small plate measure 2 1/5" x 7/8" and is designed for smaller urns. Please limit engraving to two lines with no more than 18-20 characters/spaces on the first line and 26-28 characters/spaces on the second line.
