Featuring a solid bronze book cremation urn with a rich statuary finish and a finish that resembles the antique leather cover of an old book. This urn is made using a sculpted bronze lost wax casting process used by artists to capture the enhanced details of bronze metal sculptures. The name plate on the spine of the book urn is attached with two screws. It can be removed so that it can be engraved by your local engraver or trophy shop. The outside dimensions of the name plate are 3"(L) x 2"(H). The engraving area is approximately 2.25"(L) x 1.25"(H). The cremains are loaded by removing the spine of the book. As with any urn, it is important to keep the cremains in a sealed plastic bag inside the urn. Measurements: 3.5" W x 9.5" H x 8" D Volume: 175 cubic inches - volume is a little less than most adult urns which usually hold around 200 cubic inches Urns are designed to hold the ashes of loved ones.
