Navigator Quad Gyro Reviews

5 Rating 22 Reviews
The best buggy ever that I have owned. The Gyro feature makes it even great even in hilly courses. Great to control remotely. All the accessories are just the added features. I highly recommend MGI buggies. Support is A1.. MGI is tops ..

I live in Charleston SC, and we can golf 365. I play a little over 250 days a year, and I’ve owned my quad 2 years now. I put 304 miles on my Navigator last year, and 316 miles so far this year with zero issues. Its not perfect, but darn close. Pros: Battery: My course has some hills and is 6.5 miles on a loop, I can get 36 holes on a charge. Battery charges quickly and I’ve seen no loss in strength. Bags: Any bag does reasonably well. Wheels: Nice foam, have lasted well with little wear 5th wheel: This wheel is designed to prevent tipping and is fantastic! It still can still flip on sharp grades, hills or idiotic negligent forgetful driving. I have flipped in sand traps, woods, parking lots, drainage ditches, and bridges. Pay attention and keep it close and you’ll be fine. Probably flipped mine 100+ times, all because of user error with no damage to cart. Remote: Can be a bit jerky, but does a good job. Range is probably 100 yards. I charge the remote about every 30 days of use. Compact: folds up very easy and compact. Has a handle to carry. Cons: Those 2 little stupid compartments on top. Your clubs are in the way so they are useless. BTW, a top heavy cart makes it easier to tip over. Attach sand and water bottle to the bottom of the trolley keeping the weight lower to the ground I guess I could complain about the price, but with 2 years in and no trouble It now seems like a great price compared to my other friends who keep having trouble with their electric cart.

Got this in the USA from Costco as a birthday gift. The technology is amazing. I silly enough didn’t try steering it before arriving at the course, but took 5 min in the parking lot pre round and realized it’s very intuitive. I’m 30 and typically carry a stand bag, I played 18 and had way more energy at the end of my round. Anyone who loves to walk courses should strongly consider on of these!

My one regret is that I did not buy one of these buggies years ago. It is so easy to operate and saves loads of energy. When you reach the green simply send it to the next tee box, Just don't forget to push the lock button when you put the remote in your pocket.

Overall this product has been working extremely well and has proven to be especially useful in hilly terrain or when finding a lost ball somewhere in the rough and needing my buggy to come to me. Due to the poor level of my game, I use and benefit from that feature a lot. Minor issues have been the umbrella holder which has a tendency to loosen and then pivot the umbrella to the ground. The other minor issue is the velcro on the seat lid, which has a tendency to loose its grip over time. These are relatively minor and were addressed by MGI via suitable replacements parts.
