“I purchased my MGI Zip Navigator Because I enjoy walking while playing golf, and since I moved to the mountains in Western North Carolina, carrying up and down the hills here is a bit much for me. With the Zip Navigator I can enjoy walking much more!
So far I've played 4 rounds with it and have no complaints. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. Battery life is good, although I have not tried to play more than one round on a single charge, the battery indicator still says full charge. The remote works well and has plenty of distance. Controlling it (either by hand or remotely) takes a bit of practice, but it is fairly easy to learn. The hardest part is remembering to pay attention to it! You can get distracted talking to your playing partners and forget to steer or brake.
The bag that came in the bundle is well-made with plenty of storage.
I don't know how durable it will be, but I would buy another one before I'd go back to carrying. It works that well.”
“This device under-delivers in a couple of areas and over-delivers in others. It came out of the box misaligned, so I have to learn how to fix that. (It's in the instruction manual.) Also, the tires should have more tread to them (although that might shorten their lives).
On the plus side, this thing is a champ to use. Easy to navigate and very responsive to commands. (Especially STOP!) It's not as heavy as you might fear, and I don't even have to compact it completely to put it in my small SUV. Battery life is really strong as well.
I am concerned about longevity, and I'm grateful (after reading all the warnings) that I live in a dry climate.
All-in-all, I'm very pleased with my purchase.”
“After at least 100 holes of golf, I am very happy with my Zip Navigator and MGI Bag. There is a quick learning curve and simple instructions on YouTube as my gyro needed resetting, very easy to do. My MGI bag came a few days after the Zip Navigator so I initially used a Ping Hoofer 14 which wasn't as secure as the MGI Light Americana bag since a cart bag is recommended. You can use a stand bag but you must secure the legs together so they cannot "stand". I've tumped it over a few times without any damage due to hitting a drain hole in the fairway or washed out edge of cart path. Just hit the STOP button and right the topple cart and you are on your way. Serval golfers use MGI at my club and all were happy with the product so that is a BIG reason why I chose MGI as well as the sleek design and light weight.”
“For people who like to walk it is a “must have”. Bigger. difference from pushing a cart than one would guess. Be sure to get umbrella extension.and seat.”
