“I found the MW website with a simple search for mop buckets -- better mop buckets -- after growing tedious of looking everywhere else at the commonly seen products. This was a very good find! Two fill transfers from the tub with a smaller pail and it is good to go. The taller height and narrower width makes it easier to move along especially inside a house -- and with relative quietness on smooth-rolling casters. The taper of the bucket helps reduce water sloshing about -- I didn't even think about that until writing this review. Put differently, the sloshing wasn't even a concern while I was pushing the bucket from room to room over area rugs. This is also my first experience using a down-press wringer and with the height at which it sits, simply put, it was effortless both in motion and on my back. By design, the force applied remains constant throughout the range of motion. With the side-press wringer, the force required increases as you press more water from the mop head. That's what it feels like to me anyway as it was definitely easier to use. Removing and reattaching the wringer is also smooth and quiet, definitely not clunky and awkward like some previous buckets I've used. The top lip of the the bucket also flares out a little beyond the narrower base. This put the side edge of the bucket over the wall of my bathtub while I rinsed out the mop in a separate pail in the tub before dragging the mop over to the wringer without dripping on the floor. This was a nice surprise. The bucket is strong but lightweight for it's size. When picking it up to empty, there's a surprise little recess on the bottom that serves as your supporting hand-hold, and because of the unique shape of this bucket, it's combined weight with the waste water is distributed differently from your common square bucket such that dumping it feels very-well controlled and balanced. The pour was easy with no mess, no drips -- no backsplash on my arm. And that little dirt screen at the bottom? So simple but wholly effective. Solidly built, this is well-made equipment that definitely makes mopping easier with far less hassle. No buyer's remorse here. I'm very happy with this purchase!”
