“I bought this 36 inch mop because I recently moved into a relatively large (3,300 sq ft) home and washing my wood floors with my small Bona mop was taking forever. I was deciding between buying the 24� mop and the 36� Because I was worried the 36� would be too big. I ended up buying 36 because I don�t have a lot of time to mop since I have a toddler and I wanted it done fast! My hallway upstairs is about the same size of the mop and I can sweep it in one pass! My main level has a large foyer and kitchen which I�m able to clean very quickly with this mop. I dry sweep once a day and wet mop once a week. The only thing I don�t like about this mop is that it doesn�t swivel at all like some other mops do, so turning isn�t super easy. Also the handle isn�t long enough. I�m 5�11 and I have to bend over a bit to use this mop, which isn�t very comfortable, but it beats using a small 12� mop head which takes forever on my large floor. If you have a large home this might be for you. If you have a large home but with lots of area rugs I suggest you buy the 24� max because the 36� may possibly be too big. Or buy both and use the big one where you can and then switch to the smaller one when needed. I use this 36� mop in the large open areas/hallways, and I use my smaller bona mop head in the one room I have that has a large area rug. (I read the tips on caring for microfiber and it helped-make sure not to wash microfiber pads with cotton etc, don�t expect to wash a whole floor without rinsing your mop pad otherwise you push around dirty water and get streaks etc).”
