The entire package of pads, handle, and the thingy that holds the pads has withstood 7 years of constant use and pad washings. We gave our Son the old one and bought a new one for us. These pick up all sorts of dust, our dogs hair, and pretty much anything else on your floors, under furniture or beds. I more than highly recommend this product. It has been worth every penny. “These dust mops seem thin compared with mops I purchased a couple years ago. The earlier mops had thick blue loops across the entire surface. By comparison, the latest version has a thin grey surface, and the perimeter loops are much thinner. All this points to a cheapening of a product we enjoyed using. Steve”
