“I work as a botanist and use the microscope, camera and ring light for plant identification. The microscope provides a very clear and useful magnification that exceeded my expectation - I love it. It has a very good light set up which is quite sufficient without the additional ring light. Having said that, I really like the ring light as it does provide a higher level of light and some extra control features. The camera and associated software are great too, but too be honest I haven't used them much. I installed the software on my Mac, which was straight forward. The software has a heap of functions.”
“Made completing my insect ID assessment for uni a breeze. The parts are very easy to assemble and get started. Has a nice zoom range and the ring light is very useful for adjusting the illumination just right. Haven’t used the camera yet but the response to get assistance with it was very fast.”
“The microscope, light and camera package is very easy to setup out of the box. It's a great microscope and does everything I expected from it. My only issue was focussing the camera but Stephen gave me a tip to lift it slightly and it was fine. Camera software is available online for a mac. The ring light made a huge difference.”
