Our highly popular fitch fastener brings an added dimension to security. When sash windows are double glazed the top meeting rail can, in some cases, be dramatically reduced in size. We offer a slim back plate (approx 10mm) to overcome this problem, giving ease of fitting and a look that keeps the style on par with security.

“These are well made functional catches. I have used quite a few on renovated sashes. I think they are a brass casting, certainly not plated. The lock mechanism is pretty basic, just an allen screw, but it does work Ok, as we just had to use it on a child's window.”
