Read Mile High Shooting Reviews

The design of the 5.56 62 gr. TAP® Barrier™ bullet allows the projectile to maintain its structural integrity while punching through barriers, yet initiates expansion in soft tissue. Your 5.56 NATO chambered rifle was designed to take advantage of the higher pressure of the 5.56 NATO cartridge — which translates to higher velocity, higher energy and harder-hitting performance.NOTE: NOT for use in 223 REM chambered guns.

I've found this High Performance ammo to be a reliable feeder, exceptionally accurate and clean out of my Sig 516 patrol rifle. The testing I've seen from law enforcement and online has shown this to be a very good performer in the five FBI protocol categories, though I've done no testing of that type personally. I have a home in a rural area and this round seems to be the best for my needs. Our local PD uses this ammo for all of their patrol rifles. At this price, you can't go wrong. Even with shipping, Mile High Shooting beats any local prices I can find. I'm very happy with this choice.
