Lightweight slim profile aluminum forend for HK G3 and clones. Made from single billet of 7075 T651. Includes one A-0002 Picatinny Rail as well as two set screws to take up any play between the rear of the rail and the receiver and/or barrel shank. Features Spuhr Interfaces on the bottom and the sides for attaching accessories. Lower weight than original plastic forend. Total weight 190 gram.

“Had to take a file to it in order to get the pin to go in it on my PTR. Had to relieve the top rear of it. It contacted the weld on the cocking tube. It was pushing it forward. Also a touch on the top front where it contacted the stop on the band that has the hole for the pin. After that it fits nice and tight. The set screws are not necessary in this case, I just screwed them in flush to plug the holes. I would rather have it that way, than a loose fit, that needs the set screws to make it tight. May be the difference between the HK and the PTR build. Shame about that nice finish where I had to file it. Where I touch that up won't show anyway, no big deal. I didn't deduct any for it, because I like the fit once it was relieved.”

“Very well made and excellent fit, but expensive compared to some alternative systems. The proprietary screw mounting system is excellent for keeping weight at a minimum but allowing you to put rails only where you need them, with several sizes available”

“Does exactly as advertised in a Swiss precision manner. If you have surplus parts on your rifle this will improve your grip, decrease weight and add mounting options to your rifle.”

“Vents heat well. Sturdy construction. Unique mounting solution for 1913 rails; the one provided is all I need for mounting the accessory I plan on using.Great feel on the forend.”
