“A tape dispenser of this type should be operable with one hand, i.e. heavy enough to sit still on its own while the tape is being pulled and cut. Unfortunately this small dispenser is simply too light and only works if you hold it still with the other hand. It's no good if, for example, you're wrapping gifts and need your other hand to hold the paper in place. So although the retro styling is attractive, this dispenser was a disappointment. Yes, there are two holes in the base, so in theory you could screw it to a surface, but it's unrealistic that you'd ruin a desk or anything else just to hold a tape dispenser in place. Not recommended.”
