“Like the clear body, stainless steel medium nib is about equivalent to a Lamy Safari and is particularly good with Herbin ink. The converter works a treat, actually fills the barrel. Looks wise I would prefer the silver body bits to be a satin finish.”
“This is honestly pretty disappointing. When you can get a pilot kakuno, or platinum preppy at a similar price point, there’s no need for one of these. I find the nib very finnicky, an issue I haven’t had with any of my other fountain pens, including some much cheaper ones.”
“Alfter some scratchiness the pen is writing well. It's very light and maybe a little thin for my quite large hands. A good looking demonstrator but I do query the very shiny metal on the cap and clip. I'm using it with a cartridge at the moment but to get it looking it's best I should use the converter, which is how, Herbin as an ink manufacturer probably intended it to be used”
