“Bought the brass nib out of curiosity and boy did it deliver. This fits my Speedball Calligraphy wooden holder comfortably. The main thing for me (as a Leftie) is to really scrape the ink out of the pot before writing, otherwise the wrong angle can bleed too much ink.
A lovely and soft handwriting experience - also loved using it for illustrations as well.
Saw a comment about holding the nib with Kaweco's sketchup - so I'll experiment with this as well!”
“An interesting nib with many varied uses. Holds a lot of ink and goes for awhile for writing. Minimal scratchy feeling but it does still have some. Brass feels much softer than the steel one. For those who do not like the feel of a long pen holder, try it with the Kaweco Sketchup - fits perfectly.”
