Not happy with this, it bleeds when writing with rollerball and catches on your pen. Would not buy again

The stone paper feels so good to write on smooth and lovely. Strangely heavy, this will be my note book of choice from now on.

The Karst stone paper is beautiful to touch, and with the right pen, very nice to write on, but it has issues with some writing instruments. My Hi-Tec-C gel ink tips leave a noticeable impression on the back of the paper, but worse is my mechanical pencil which digs and tears into the surface. If they can fix those issues, this would be a 5-star notebook, but for now it's really only an option if you use felt-tips, ballpoints or soft pencils.

I don't recommend using this product for anything more than ballpoint pens. Fine liners and markers catch on the page if you do anything more than straight lines, products bleed and smudge super easily, pencil is hard to erase, and any product used will ghost through the page including including grey lead pencil.

Love this notebook, it's just as described. However, whilst it says on Karst's website that pencil rubs out really well, it doesn't (not even 2B which they recommend), it leaves a 'ghost' of the writing. Ball point pens work well and don't smudge (once you've given them a minute to dry) but rollerballs definitely do smudge.

The paper in these books is as smooth as silk, especially with gel pens. Book lies flat, sturdy hardcover that tolerates some wiping with a damp cloth. And it uses less wood pulp than normal notebooks which is a bonus.
