However, I grabbed one of these on a whim to try something new for the environment in terms of sustainability and its a great idea to use alternate materials to standard paper but these are soo hard to use. They're supposedly water resistant so they dont absorb certain inks that well and end up smudging constantly. I used a brush pen on it and waited a day before realising it would never dry. I've tried to use mine as an art journal mainly for sketching with standard pencils but they also smudge horribly. Mechanical pencils dont do that well either as i find mine frequently pokes the pages and gets stuck in the material. 0 stars.
In addition to this, stone paper isnt as sustainable as it claims to be. Waterproof paper has to be coated in plastic. And it cannot be recycled like normal paper. 0 stars.”
