Leuchtturm maybe designed in Germany but the deceit is that the website did not mention made in China.
The book itself upon examination is bad
1. Upon unpacking, it produces a very powerful chemical smell that does not wear off easily. Other books such as ones made in Italy does not produce such a smell.
2. The book cover and elastic band aren't great. The cover has indents produced by the elastic band. I have two more books of a similar design made in Italy and such things do not happen.
3. There are imperfections on certain pages. On one particular page, there is a blood stain which is a little put-off”
