Just don’t get why they call it a beginner fountain pen. I am no beginner, just appreciate practical things. Between this and Sailor gold nib I find myself using this one 90% more often.”
“As a lefty myself (typical overwriter), I was excited to see what their "left-handed" nib was all about. Unfortunately, the design of the nib serves no purpose and the design of the pen itself makes it closer to a torture device. It is a left-handed nib....on a right-handed pen and it does not work. I'm actually wondering if LAMY has worked with any lefties for this pen design.
It's a shame because everything else is stellar and the quality feels top-notch. Fellow lefties, I took one for the team, stay away from the Safari range (or whatever range has the extruded design where you hold the pen).”
