The heavy paper has a texture to it which I like, it is almost absorbent and fountain pen ink dries quickly on it without bleeding through to the next page. Not as flashy as glassy smooth Clairefontaine, which for me is a good thing but could be a negative if you like showing off your high-sheen inks.
