“They are very useful and sturdy. Unlike other 0.5 leads I’ve used in the past, these ones don’t snap in half when I put them down my pen.
There is one problem though… it’s that there is plenty of room for fitting more leads into the container, and that makes me I little disappointed. Either put more leads in the container, or, make the container smaller.
In the grand scheme of things, overpackaged pencil leads are not too big of a deal. However our world is far too small for such inconveniences, and the more products that are overpackaged in plastic, the more pollution we make. And that will be the death of us.
But nothing even matters anyway. Does it? No. The world may be small, but the universe is infinite, and overpackaged pencil leads make no difference whatsoever.
In conclusion, I found these leads to be satisfactory.”
“I recently purchased a pair of Lamy lead pencils and refills for my children. The leads are a little thicker than traditional pacer-style pencils so it is hard for the kids to snap, but not as thick as the stabilo kids learning pencil. It is a great next step for the kids to learn about not placing too much pressure on their pencils/pens as they learn to write.”
