“I am very happy. The paper count + quality is very high and the cost allows this to be much more approachable notebook than some counterparts. The notebook comes wrapped in a light wax paper cover which is a really nice protection. It also includes a sticker set to label the book when you are done which makes for a really cute when adding to a bookshelf.”
“Got recommended this in-store. I was looking for an A4 notepad, preferably top bound so I wouldn't be smudging content as a left hander. I'm a graphic designer and wanted something for technical drawings and concepting logos and layouts. Staff told me this shouldn't be a problem with Midori products.
I'm blown away by the quality of the paper. My ink dries immediately and doesn't bleed at all. The weight of each sheet is just enough to feel sturdy and not move, but is still lightweight. I was concerned with the sharp corners denting or curling but the notebook stays shut and not damage so far.
Some small problems (not a reason for me not to buy this again) the ribbon is fraying, I might try sealing this shrink wrap or tape. The pages are slightly translucent, if I'm drawing across a spread, this will show through. The cover is a unsealed cardstock so it's started showing stains and scuffs - I'll buy a cover or make something.
Overall really love, no brainer and will buy again.”
